Is your back killing you? Support it.

The most important part of your day may be work. It is where you spend the majority of your time and most of that time is spent sitting. So whether you prefer a desk chair, a swivel chair, or are lucky enough to require an executive office chair, you need to make sure that you choose a chair that is the best fit for you and especially your back. So, where to begin? It all depends on what you are doing for most of the day. A swivel chair works well if you need mobility and your daily requirements call for motion and movement, for instance grabbing files, working with different work stations that are in close proximity, etc. If your job covers a larger area such as a small office space, a desk chair with rollers may be a better fit for your overall comfort and support. If you need access to multiple stations and items in a space a desk chair will allow for more mobility than a swivel chair while offering similar support. An executive office chair is best suited for a more stationary work day. If your main task is reading for example and dealing with files and writing that require close attention and review an executive office chair provides a very stable and comfortable space without much movement. So keep these items in mind when you decide to upgrade your working arrangements and your back will thank you. It will also benefit your overall health.
